I did a radio day on behalf of Weightwatchers discussing the psychological changes that occur in Autumn in terms of our mood, our behaviour and our cognitions, and whether we can do anything about these. I also talked about when Autumn actually starts from a psychological point of view, taking into account the full range of factors, including weather, light, nature, societal timetables, food, TV schedules etc. which all affect our behaviour and mood. Research was carried out by Weightwatchers into the effects of autumn on our weight, and I was interviewed alongside Zoe Griffiths, Head of Programme and Public Health from Weightwatchers.
