Stress and Travel

A lot of the academic research is on the stress levels of commuters and considers the effects of different modes of travel on mood state as well as the longer-term physical and psychological health aspects of driving versus travelling by train to work.  Virgin Trains commissioned a new survey that looked into the effects of mode of travel on mood, and how long any negative mood states last for, and how stressful different modes of travel are, compared to other common stressors.  I discussed these findings and offered some top tips to combat the negative effects of any journey.
